This is a great story written with older readers in mind. A bear has lost his hat...and politely asks around to see if anyone has seen it. Then, a rabbit appears who says he hasn't seen to hat - but is wearing a hat just like the one the bear has lost! The ending is a little dark, with the suggestion that bear has indeed eaten rabbit! This can promote quite a lot of discussion and often a lot of laughter when children realise the implication of what bear has said!
